By accessing eClinton Market (market.eclinton.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, do not use the platform.
You must be 18 years or older to use eClinton Market. By registering, you confirm you are legally able to enter binding contracts under Nigerian law. You may not create multiple accounts or circumvent suspensions.
You may NOT: list illegal, counterfeit, or stolen goods; post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings; use the platform to launder money; harass, threaten, or defraud other users; attempt to circumvent payment systems; scrape or copy platform data; sell controlled substances, weapons, or adult content.
All listings must: be accurately described with genuine photos; display fair market pricing; comply with Nigerian consumer protection laws; include valid location information; not infringe on intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove any listing at our discretion.
All marketplace transactions must be conducted through eClinton Pay. We hold funds in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Platform fee: 5% per sale (physical/auction), 20% (digital/media). Withdrawal fee: ₦50 flat per transaction. Funds from fraudulent sources will be confiscated and reported to authorities.
When a buyer confirms receipt, funds are released to the seller. Disputes must be opened within 48 hours of delivery confirmation. We will mediate and may issue refunds, release funds, or take other action at our sole discretion. Our decision in disputes is final.
By uploading media, you confirm you own all rights or have necessary licenses. You grant eClinton Market a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, and display your content on the platform. Uploading copyrighted content without permission is prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.
Affiliate commissions are earned by referring users who complete purchases. Commission rates may change with 30 days notice. Commissions earned through fraudulent means (self-referrals, fake accounts) will be reversed and may result in account termination. Minimum payout: ₦500.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for: violating these Terms, fraudulent activity, multiple reports from users, inactivity for 24 months, or any reason at our sole discretion. Suspended accounts may appeal within 30 days.
eClinton Market provides a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for: item quality beyond escrow protection, losses from buyer/seller fraud after confirmed transactions, indirect or consequential damages. Our maximum liability is the transaction value in dispute.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved through the Nigerian court system, jurisdiction in the FCT, Abuja. Consumer disputes may also be referred to the FCCPC.
We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email and platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
